Mrs Berry was like a second Mom to me during my days at VMI. I was best firends with her son Charlie and I spent many a day in Blackstone, VA at her home. Some of the best days of my life! She will be missed greatly.

My 2nd Mom holds a place in my heart no-one else could ever fill. She accepted me as family from the beginning and that never changed. Even though the world would view me as an Ex daughter-in-law the last 20+ years. She continued to love me and my children and encouraged us in everything we did.Her easy smile, the twinkle in her eyes, and her signature mantra, "education, education, education," has blessed us all. I love you, Mom. I will carry you in my heart, always.

Gran-ma was one of the pillars of my childhood, along with Gran-gran when he was still with us. Always there when I needed her, even if it was just over the phone. She introduced me to my favorite film of all time, Rodgers & Hammerstein's 'The King and I'. She helped out when I wanted to take piano lessens. Always had good 'words of wisdom' for me. And was the best Scrabble partner I've ever had. Wish I would have made more time to see her in my adult years. I will love and cherish her always. <3

I have fond memories of "Miss" Guelda at the Senior Center when I would teach exercise or crafts. She always had a kind word and a sincerity that few have matched. Such a sweet, sweet lady!
