Richard Michael Creque
October 2, 1961 – April 14, 2024

Richard Michael Creque, 62, of Engelhard passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville.

Richard was born in the state of New York on October 2, 1961, to Olga Creque. And raised in St Thomas, VI.

Richard loved his family very much and loved helping his community. He was a member of the Swan Quarter Volunteer Fire Dept, The Fairfield Volunteer Fire Dept, and the Engelhard Volunteer Fire Dept, where he retired as a Captain. He was very proud to have been of service to his communities. He was formerly employed in the funeral service industry in Florida and had other occupations in NC.

Richard loved to fish, hunt, and spend time outdoors with his family.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

He is survived by his wife, Lori Swindell-Creque; two sons, Joshua Creque ( Amber ) of Jacksonville, FL and Steven Swindell-Creque ( Sara )  of Engelhard; four daughters, Megan Creque of Fort Meyers, FL, Kyla Murphy ( Charles ) of Republic, MO, Rikki Swindell-Creque ( Codi ) of Springfield, MO, and Emily Swindell-Creque of Engelhard; seven grandchildren; Karlie, Brynlee, Quentin, Kaydence, Arabella, Issac, and Sebastian. two brothers, Michael Giglio (Ann ) of Pennsylvania and John Donnelly of Wisconsin; and two sisters, Dawn Gallager of Wisconsin and Katie Donnelly of Florida, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Mother Olga. 

In leu of flowers, donations can be made directly to Bryan Funeral Service, 119 Main Street, Swan Quarter, NC to assist the family with final expenses.
